Zoo Trip!
The Wildlife World Zoo in Litchfield, AZ is a fairly small, intimate zoo dedicated to species survival plans, that is to say, the reproduction of endangered or near endanged species. These are a few pictures I took on 3/27/05.

They let you feed the Giraffes. Here he's waiting for someone to place some food on his tongue. The tongues are very soft.
Yes, we really can eat grass or things off the ground!

Baby Blac Australian Swans. Sorry, couldn't get a clear shot of daddy charging the boat to protect his babies! He attacks the motor at every circuit, apparently.

Yes, that is a real live penguin under there. Yes, I know its Arizona, but its a South African Penguin. It has a cold house for the summer heat.

Then there are the current stars of the zoo, the baby white tigers. There is a pair of them, but only one was awake and posing and playing.
