Summer Fashion
AKA Arc de Triomphe
Bred by William A. Warriner, 1986
Floribunda
A lovely rose that opens pale yellow in the center fading to creamy white before being softly edged with pink. As it opens fully, the petals become more blushed
with pink where the sun kisses them. It has a lovely smell. Jackson & Perkins held the rights to this rose and no longer sell it. What a pity. In addition to my
original, bought the last year they were available, I managed to procure three additional 'leftovers' the following year. One was a stroke of luck find locally,
the other two from a nursery out of state that listed them as available on their website. Despite no mention of mail order service, I called and they were wonderful
about packaging them up and sending them to me. Hats off to Burkard Nurseries for their excellent service!
