Margaret began her caeer in the Sales division of Oberlindes Lines on the Efate to Regina run. She served 24 years and worked her way up to a final rank of Broker. After marrying, she took a civil service position on Regina with the Regina Data Exchange. She was widowed four years ago when her husband died of a sudden stroke. Her bridge partner, Corrine Kirby, left Regina two years ago. So although she has continued to play bridge with various partners, there is little actually holding her to Regina without her job. She was retired from that position after 32 years, at a final rank of Executive. Other than cards, her hobbies are needlepoint and work. She generally uses a cane to walk, but can walk without one if necessary.
